The Liverpool Spartans Basketball junior development program, run by Liverpool Basketball at Whitlam Leisure Centre in Liverpool, NSW, Australia, feels like a warm gym-floor welcome with a serious eye on fundamentals and fun. It’s a place where young hoop dreams are welcomed and nurtured, and where teamwork and individual growth grow at pretty much the same pace as jump shots and lay-ups. �

 

For our Junior programs and to assist families we now offer AFTERPAY via the Basketball Connect app which is done at registration point.

Our Services

Basketball Junior Training Programs

The program caters to a wide range of abilities, from total beginners picking up a ball for the first time to more committed players looking to sharpen their skills. Coaches focus heavily on correct technique—a refreshing shift away from just letting kids “figure it out” on the court. Mistakes aren’t frowned upon; they’re treated as stepping stones to improvement, which helps kids build both competence and confidence.

Starting soon is our Winter Men's competition and Winter Unisex. Team nominations are opening soon and visit either or both Pages to register as either a team or as a player seeking a team as we will do our best to find one for you.

What age groups do you cater to?

We cater for boys and girls aged 5 to 16 years of age as well as adult programs.

 

Do you offer trial classes?

Yes, one off trials are doe at a cost of $15 per child.

How do I register for a program?

You can register online through our website or contact us for assistance.

We use the Basketball Connect app and registration system to register all members.

Can we pay the lessons off?

Junior programs now offer access via AFTERPAY, this is a service which allows customers to pay in 4 installments over around 6 weeks without any fees on your end.
